Vector Renewables will be the Technical Advisor for a repowering Project in southern Japan

Vector Renewables is pleased to announce that it has been selected to perform the Technical Due Diligence (TDD) of a repowering project in southern Japan with a total capacity of 30MW. This project represents an important milestone in our commitment to promote renewable energy solutions and support the transition to more sustainable energy systems.

The Vector Renewables team in Japan led by Jorge Zazo, Country Manager of Japan, will be responsible for providing the service during the construction and operation phase of the project performing design and equipment division, analyzing EPC/O&M permits and contracts, and evaluating energy performance along with quality control for projects in operation.

It has been more than 10 years since the first wave of FIP projects came online, and as these facilities age, the need for modernization becomes increasingly evident. Repowering has emerged as a powerful option to significantly improve the performance and efficiency of these plants.

By modernizing equipment and optimizing the design for better energy capture and implementing the latest technologies, repowering not only improves operational efficiency but also increases energy production achieving a substantial increase in income and extending the life of the plants. In this way, it is guaranteed that they will continue to contribute to sustainable energy goals for many years to come.
