The company has participated in the industry meeting ‘Experience in the integration of photovoltaic in power grids of Spain and El Salvador’ organized by the Spanish Photovoltaic Industry Association UNEF, that has brought together some of the most important players in the energy sector in these countries.
In the event, held on March 9th in San Salvador, Héctor Hernández (in charge of Vector Cuatro’s Engineering department in Latin America) presented on the basis of Vector Cuatro’s experience the role of a Technical Advisor for banks in all the stages of financing of solar PV projects.
In this phase, Vector Cuatro renders services such as the Technical Due Diligence, the supervision during the construction, the assessment of facilities from a technical and operational point of view or the support during the negotiation of EPC and O&M contracts, among others.
In the last years, the company has focused some of its activities in several countries in Latin America, carrying out technical advisory for financial institutions in more than 1,600 MW.
Vector Cuatro has been present in the Latin American region since 2012. It opened its first office in Mexico in 2013 from where it controls today its projects in Guatemala, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, El Salvador and Panama. Additionally, after its fruitful experience as financial advisor in a number of transactions in Chile, the company has decided to deploy its technical advisory services in the country where it is currently considering to open a new office.
At the moment, Vector Cuatro has carried out more than 550 projects in 22 countries worldwide and is internationally ranked as one of the most important companies in the renewable energy industry. It has over 1 GW of solar PV assets under management and counts on a track record of 16 GW throughout the entire value chain of the projects. In September 2014, the company was incorporated into the Italian Falck Renewables Group (FKR.MI), a leading player in the European renewable energy industry and listed at the Milan Stock Exchange.
